Job Summary
The Groomer is responsible for bathing animals of various sizes and temperaments, trimming, clipping, or shaving hair/fur, and removing matted hair. The Groomer should also be able to ensure that grooming tools and equipment are in good working condition.

Job Responsibilities
- Possess basic grooming and handling knowledge
- Excellent scissor skills
- Ability to perform breed specific pattern cuts
- Follow all client requests
- Recruit and retain clientele
- Demonstrate professional and effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail and ability to observe animal behaviors daily
- Able to clean pet accommodations / facility to maintain our high standards
- Operate basic computer software
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends/holidays
- Prefer 3 years of grooming experience
- Preferred experience grooming both cats and dogs
- Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand up to 8 hours
Pay Range - 50% commission of grooms
